Addressing the issue of signature common to reduced backpressure designs, the SRBS762 series provides the same flash reduction expected of a B&T suppressor while maintaining a remarkably quiet tone. The SRBS762 series also features a redesigned low-flash endcap, 1.375×24 TPI HUB compatibility, a new exterior texture, and a bead-blasted finish, all in a lightweight 3D-printed package.

The exact flash hider that helped create the SureFire SOCOM legacy
Significantly reduces muzzle flash compared to a bare muzzle
Multiple bearing surfaces provide superior suppressor alignment
Always Choose SureFire. Our FH556RC-1/2-28 SOCOM 4-Prong Flash Hider for 5.56 mm weapon platforms is the exact flash hider that SureFire developed to dominate the most rigorous suppressor trial in military history and earn the USSOCOM suppressor contract, and our FH762RC-5/8-24 delivers the same level of performance and durability for 7.62 mm/.308 caliber rifles. Their four-tine design significantly reduces muzzle flash — typically greater than 99% compared to a bare muzzle — delivering extreme signature reduction and rugged dependability. With multiple bearing surfaces that ensure proper suppressor alignment, these flash hiders also serve as a rock-solid mounting platform for any SureFire SOCOM Fast-Attach® suppressor. Precision-machined from U.S. mill-certified stainless-steel bar stock, and heat-treated for added strength, they are highly resistant to gas and particle erosion, so you can depend on them to provide years of faithful service. SureFire flash hiders are individually inspected to ensure concentricity and alignment and covered by SureFire’s No-Hassle Guarantee.
KAC’s Pressure Reduction Technology (PRT) Signature Reduction Device line blends the proven durability and acoustic performance of the previous generation of KAC suppressors with pressure reduction design.
These suppressors are specifically engineered to release the majority of the pressure contained in the device and bore prior to the operating system beginning extraction, which significantly reduces the negative effects of suppressor integration, and reduces felt recoil compared to a traditional suppressor with the same level of sound reduction.
Muzzle flash, and specifically first-round flash, has also been directly addressed and minimized with the PRT design. The Quick Disconnect (QDC) mounting method ensures reduced carbon-lock, as well as minimal but repeatable point of impact shift when transitioning between suppressed and unsuppressed configurations.
For interval maintenance, the PRT devices can be cleaned with commonly used bore solvents or ultrasonic tank cleaning with a water rinse.
The Knight’s Armament 5.56 QDC/CRS-PRT connects to all 5.56 QDC Muzzle Devices.
