The SR-25 E2 APC series is the latest evolution of the dual role 7.62 mm NATO Carbine and Rifle. Each are equally adept at putting rounds on target past 800 meters or rapid multi-shot engagement at close range, with a barrel and bolt life to support the training regimen necessary to master these skills. An ambidextrous bolt release, selector, and magazine release offer the left-handed user the ergonomic advantages inherent to AR15 based controls, as well as giving right-handed users alternate methods of manipulation to increase efficiency of movement. The drop-in 2-stage trigger serves double duty as an aid to long range precision marksmanship while enabling surgical speed shooting at close range. $3,499.00B&T takes its APC (Advanced Police Carbine) series to the next level with the APC308, a weapon ideal for SWAT and special intervention task forces as well as special military operations. Each APC unit is exceptionally well-machined, and is manufactured with the Swiss-made precision that B&T is known for. This is particularly evident in the hydraulic shock-absorbing buffer which greatly mitigates recoil and enhances overall accuracy, as well as an all metal lower receiver. The result is a weapon that is controllable on rapid fire, accurate and comfortable to shoot. In addition, many of the APC’s controls are reminiscent of the AR-15 platform, such as the ambidextrous safety selector, the trigger assembly, and its ability to accept AR-type magazines. These similarities make for a better shooting experience for someone already acquainted with the AR-15.
