Designed to meet the future needs of police and military forces worldwide, the APC223 is a rugged and lightweight pistol providing plenty of firepower. They cover the demands of urban or rural police work as well as the challenges the special forces operator faces in today’s asymmetrical conflicts. The APC utilizes a hydraulic buffer system to significantly reduce felt recoil and muzzle rise, while providing increased terminal performance, intermediate barrier penetration and sheer energy on target, in a size optimized for discrete deployment. Ultra-reliable, accurate, and precise, the APC223 is ideal for professionals and sport shooters looking for more static precision in a carbine variant.
As one of the flagships of B&T, the APC PRO line represents a breakthrough in customization and modularity on a pistol-caliber platform. Every component is of the highest quality, and is meticulously machined and fitted with the Swiss-made precision that B&T is known for. The APC PRO itself is equipped with several major upgrades such as enhanced lower receiver ergonomics and a side positioned bolt hold open/release. The APC PRO also sports a non-reciprocating, auto-folding charging handle to reduce the risk of snagging on loose clothing/equipment. At the heart of the APC system is the hydraulic shock-absorbing buffer system which greatly mitigates recoil and enhances overall accuracy. In terms of customization, the APC PRO features a flattop picatinny rail for optics as well as a an under-barrel rail for lights/lasers. Each APC PRO unit also has a variety of B&T made accessories including brass-catchers, extended magazines, and fore-grips designed specifically for that model. In addition, many aspects of the APC PRO are reminiscent of the AR-15, such as the ambidextrous selector switch, the ergonomics, trigger assembly and accepts AR-15 style grips. These similarities make for a better shooting experience for someone already acquainted with the AR-15. This APC9 PRO-G’s lower receiver has also been outfitted to accept the widely available Glock magazines, including the 22 round extended magazine.
Features of the B&T APC9K PRO:

KAC’s Pressure Reduction Technology (PRT) Signature Reduction Device line blends the proven durability and acoustic performance of the previous generation of KAC suppressors with pressure reduction design.
These suppressors are specifically engineered to release the majority of the pressure contained in the device and bore prior to the operating system beginning extraction, which significantly reduces the negative effects of suppressor integration, and reduces felt recoil compared to a traditional suppressor with the same level of sound reduction.
Muzzle flash, and specifically first-round flash, has also been directly addressed and minimized with the PRT design. The Quick Disconnect (QDC) mounting method ensures reduced carbon-lock, as well as minimal but repeatable point of impact shift when transitioning between suppressed and unsuppressed configurations.
For interval maintenance, the PRT devices can be cleaned with commonly used bore solvents or ultrasonic tank cleaning with a water rinse.
The Knight’s Armament 5.56 QDC/CRS-PRT connects to all 5.56 QDC Muzzle Devices.
